This Privacy Policy explains how HeirDock LLC ("HeirDock," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our marketing website at https://www.heirdock.com (the "Website").
This policy applies only to the Website. If you use the HeirDock application, a separate privacy policy governs how we handle your data within the product.

1. Information We Collect
We collect a limited amount of information through the Website, as described below.
Information You Provide to Us
We collect personal information that you voluntarily submit through forms on our Website:
- Early Access / Waitlist Form: Your email address when you request early access to HeirDock.
- Contact Form: Your name, email address, and the content of your message when you reach out to us.
You are not required to provide this information, but we cannot respond to your inquiry or add you to our waitlist without it.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Website, we may collect limited technical information automatically, including:
- Server Log Data: Your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected by our hosting provider in standard server logs.
- Cookies: Our Website may use essential cookies that are necessary for the site to function properly (such as session management). We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on the Website.
We may in the future use a privacy-focused analytics tool (such as Plausible Analytics) that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. If we do, we will update this section accordingly.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To manage your waitlist request — processing and responding to your early access signup.
- To respond to your inquiries — replying to messages you send through our contact form.
- To send you updates — if you signed up for early access, we may send you product updates and launch announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To maintain and secure the Website — using server logs to monitor for security threats, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the Website functions properly.
- To comply with legal obligations — responding to lawful requests from authorities or as otherwise required by applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may share information with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Website (such as our hosting provider or email service provider). These providers are contractually required to use your information only to perform services on our behalf and to protect it in accordance with this policy.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, in response to a valid legal process (such as a subpoena or court order), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HeirDock, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: If HeirDock is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change by updating this policy.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our Website uses only essential cookies that are necessary for the site to function. We do not currently use:
- Third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics)
- Advertising or retargeting pixels (such as Meta Pixel)
- Session recording or heatmap tools
If we adopt analytics tools in the future, we intend to use privacy-respecting solutions that do not rely on cookies or track individual users.
Your browser settings: Most browsers allow you to manage or block cookies through their settings. Because we only use essential cookies, blocking them may affect your ability to use certain features of the Website.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy:
- Waitlist/early access emails are retained until you unsubscribe, or until we no longer need them for the purpose they were collected.
- Contact form submissions are retained for up to one (1) year after your inquiry is resolved, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
- Server logs are retained for up to ninety (90) days for security and troubleshooting purposes.
After these periods, we delete or anonymize your information.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the personal information we collect through the Website. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at privacy@heirdock.com.
7. Children's Privacy
The Website is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us at privacy@heirdock.com and we will promptly delete it.
8. Your Privacy Rights

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
In the past twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from Website visitors: identifiers (name, email address, IP address). We have not sold or shared this information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
